Certain people seem to forget that Dutch teams were dominating the scene when CoD was at it's peak (2006-2009).

Serious (digitalMind) in Call of Duty 2
Button Bashers in Call of Duty 4

Anyway congratulations being able to achieve top 3 results at some local lans ~8 years later when 90+% of the community is playing for fun (except critical... they just strat burgundy 6 hours a day).

Looking at the last lans:

The Last Stand 1:
Great lan, unfortunately admins didn't bother following the rules with Gunrunners getting caught with scripts & another team ghosting.

The Last Stand 2: Had my doubts when cod2mp/noMan was going to host it and unfortunately I was right since teams didn't get paid out... Also Gunrunners somehow managed to exit the tournament in groupstage.

TOMMOROWLAN: With 30 teams attending I expected a bigger prizepool, but that doesn't really matter I suppose... Afaik people had a good time & wisdom managed to lose vs onlinephix Kappa PJSalt.

I do recall Dutch teams being at top when it actually mattered... Serious (digitalMind) in Call of Duty 2 and Button Bashers in Call of Duty 4.

Congratulations being able to achieve top 3 results at some local lans that offer pocket change as "prizemoney" or don't pay out... )

Also wisdom confirmed onliners, lost vs ephix mix Kappa PJSalt etc.

Just a correction, Bob. Noman had nothing much to do with TLS2, I organized that, however District were the ones dealing with all the money, just like on TLS1. They went bankrupt in the meantime and didn't pay out what they owed to many people, not only for this lan. Pissed me off more than anyone, trust me.

As far as the scripts/ghosting at TLS1 goes, we did not have any concrete proof, which would allow us to take some action, which we would have done right away if that were the case. It might be true that this happened, but I am sure everyone will agree that we could not take any action just because someone said it did. We needed to find something on the pcs/logs and we didn't, even though we looked. Nothing we could do.

hey Bob, since this is a discussion about whos dominating the game, why does your comment contain everything but the opinion on the performance of the teams?
