Map Pack 1 :

Black Ops First Strike contains 5 incredibly diverse maps spanning the globe; featuring 4 multiplayer maps and a new Zombie experience.
"Berlin Wall" enlists players across both sides of Cold War Berlin; "Stadium" delivers fast-paced, close-quarters combat within the backdrop of a sports complex; "Discovery" features an abandoned German outpost set along the coast of Antarctica; "Kowloon" pits players onto the tiered levels of high-rises and rooftops of Kowloon City, Hong Kong. And for Zombie fans the world over, Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike also features an all new Zombie experience. The new level, "Ascension," pits players against hoards of vicious, perk-stealing zombie monkeys, flesh-eating Soviet Zombies and more in a trap-filled, Cold War era cosmodrome.

New details regarding the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack have been revealed, via GAME Australia's website. It's difficult to garner too much info, but the pack in question is called 'Escalation' and looks to feature a new Zombies map, in addition to the new multiplayer arenas.
Once again, it's tough to gather any real concrete info from this reveal, but a map... in a zoo? That's bound to be... interesting. From the wording it also looks as though each map has been designed around specific objective based game types.

Attention "Call of Duty: Black Ops" fans: Activision and Treyarch aren't done with last year's "Call of Duty" title just yet. As we reported yesterday, pictures of a GameStop poster allegedly showed promotional materials for a third map pack. On the16th of June, Activision officially announced the next "Black Ops" downloadable-content, called "Annihilation."
Even better, the new maps are due to find their way to Xbox 360 on June 28. Only twelve short days until you'll have new locations to reign supreme over your buddies and zombies alike.

"With Annihilation, 'Black Ops' fans will get four exciting and unique multiplayer settings with Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo and Hazard," Treyarch's Mark Lamia stated, via press release. "Players will also enjoy an all-new Zombies experience, Shangri-La, an exotic and mysterious map filled with deadly traps, dark secrets and innovative gameplay that will challenge even the most daring Zombie hunters."
Well, the maps certainly look like a lot of fun. Personally, I was never big on the Nuketown map, so I'm not sure how much I'll really get into the similarly structured Drive-In setting. Hazard definitely looks interesting though, with its emphasis on long-range combat.
No word yet on pricing, but I'm willing to bet "Annihilation" is going to cost 15 bucks; just call it a hunch. There's also no word on when the downloadable-content will be made available to PlayStation 3 and PC "Black Ops" players

This all-Zombies content pack hurls players into orbit with "Moon," the climax to the Zombies saga, as well as the most challenging and thrilling adventure yet. The undead shift in and out of sight, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Undead astronauts easily shamble toward their next meal, unaffected by the base's fluctuating gravity.

Arm yourself with a space-age arsenal of epic proportions, including the Wave Gun, capable of cooking zombies from the inside out, as well as the Quantum Entanglement Device, which taps into the theories of quantum mechanics to bless (or curse!) your battle against the undead. Along with new equipment and an all-new Perk for thrice the zombie-slaying fun, you'll have the tools you need to turn back the undead tide once and for all.

In addition to the final chapter, Rezurrection also includes:

- Four re-mastered levels from Call of Duty: World at War: "Nacht der Untöten," "Verrückt," "Shi No Numa," and "Der Riese," where it all began.

- An enhanced Zombies soundtrack including, three tracks never before available for purchase.

- A new Zombies "Moon" theme.

Those of you that purchased the Black Ops Hardened or Prestige Editions and already own the four re-mastered maps, the other contents in the Rezurrection content pack will be free, including Moon, the soundtrack and the theme.

For players that haven't purchased the Hardened or Prestige Editions, Rezurrection will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points. To commemorate release, we'll be hosting Double XP over Labor Day weekend. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection downloadable content pack will launch worldwide, first on Xbox LIVE on August 23rd, 2011.
