Hello, yesterday I've recorded a couple of actions and I had 60 fps locked, today I tried to record and guess what? My fps drops down to 50...
Dunno why, could it be a GPU problem?

Probably because it takes fucking forever. If I did that for my fragmovie (16mins long) I would still be recording today lmao

doesnt take forever if you have some workflow and you get flawless quality.

you need to record with avidemo (estimated timescale 0.00000001), make an .avi file with vdub, which also takes processing time, then record the sound seperately and sync it. with fraps you record once and youre done. it is way faster.

takes less time than fraps if you do it right (assuming you record with low timescale).
record on 120 fps and it should be pretty fast, i recorded way more than 100 clips that way, even 250 fps was fine.

have about 70-80 cod4 clips / fragmovies so I've recorded a fair share using both avidemo and fraps. The only reason why fraps really saves you time is audio. Otherwise I would take the extra minute or two and get flawless quality.

Fraps is not very friendly with hardware and I've tried several times getting some good 1920x1080 footage with fraps and it's just hard to not get it to lag or freeze while recording for an extended amount of time.

Also @GERTU if you have multiple harddrives/ssd's try switching video output directory. Saving files to a harddrive other than the one you play from usually gives you a massive performance boost while recording with fraps.
