1.Start VUE5 Espirit 2.File-> New 3.Choose a sky which you like (feel to free to edit them, but i never did) 4.Atmosphere - > Atmosphere Editor -> Effects -> Untick both Default lens flares for -> OK 5.Picture -> Render destination: Render to screen. Aspect ratio -> Square (1:1) -> Click to other and set 1024 and OK. You can close the Render Display.
6.Set the camera: At the Layer 1 delete the "ground", choose the Main camera, after set the Focal to 18mm. Click to the "Ruler" icon and set the these values:
X: 0.756 Y: -96.929 Z:128.
In this window we can see there are 5 icon and it's in the first(named Position). Click to
the second (Orientation) and set these values:
Pitch 90 Yaw 0 Roll 90
7.Picture -> Render, after rendered a picture, click to the "floppy" icon , press Yes,
click again "floppy", and make a folder to save the first picture as sky0001.bmp -> OK 8.Do this again with these values :
9.Start Terrasky and in the C:\Program Files\TerraSky\input folder paste the 6 pictures and the Sky name is the same: sky_firstsky. Output images : TGA(!) -> Click to GO 10. Copy from the output folder the pictures to Call of Duty2\main\images folder (if you dont have make one)
11.Start Asset Manager(If you dont have you need to install cod2modtools). Set material, name what did before: sky_firstsky. materialType-> sky, sort-> <default>*, surfaceType-> <none>, usage->sky, Locales : Tools
We need Color map. Load that file which ending with "_ft". Special surface properties ->
12.Pc->Current Asset Only , if you got "INVALID GDT LOADED" you just need to make a save 13.In the cod2 images folder we find 1 .iwi file, we need 4 more. (simply copypasta dem)
